Mallory Sharp

Mallory Sharp lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, two teenagers, and their studio dog, Shep, a mellow golden retriever puppy. Over the past several years, she has developed a deep passion for oil painting, learning through workshops and studio sessions with fine artists in Colorado Springs and Denver. While painting has become her primary focus, Mallory also enjoys a wide range of creative projects, from home improvement and gardening to graphic design.

She draws inspiration from the fleeting moments of life, particularly the ever-changing, brilliant colors of the sunrise, which feel like a reward for waking up early. Mallory strives to capture these beautiful moments with her art so that they remain accessible—both to herself and others—whenever we seek them out. Life is often too busy to savor a sunrise or sunset, or to appreciate how the light touches the blooms on a branch. Through her work, Mallory aspires to convey these subtle beauties in a meaningful, lasting way.
